The Tippecanoe Canal Jumpers Base Ball Club will be hosting the 2nd Annual Tippecanoe Base Ball Cup Sunday, September 25 during Mum Festival Weekend. The Cup features clubs from Dayton, Springfield, Columbus and Cincinnati playing vintage base ball using the rules of 1860. Spectators will experience players in old-time uniforms using no gloves, catching the ball off the bound for an out and under-handed pitching. The event will be held at the Tipp City Park, north of the Aquatic Center parking lot. Ten matches will be played from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.

Rain Date will be Saturday October 6th
Door Prizes and a 50/50 drawing will be drawn at each stop.
We will be leaving from Warrior Racing, located at 38 Weller Dr. Tipp City, OH 45371, at about 11:30 AM. The ride will be approximately 90 miles. The first stop is Cruizer’s Bar & Grill, 115 North St, Russia, OH 45363, for lunch. The ride will continue to Greenville, for a pit stop at Tail Gators Sports Bar & Grill, Greenville, OH 45331. Then we will be going to BW3’s in Troy, Ohio. The final leg of the ride will be back to Warrior Racing located at 38 Weller Dr. Tipp City, Ohio.

Presented by the Tipp-Monroe Optimists in
conjunction with the Octagon Club, the Jr. Run for the Mums is a
free event open to children from 5 to 12 years of age. The
distance of each race will vary based on the age group of the
participants and each participant will receive a ribbon for their
participation. The winners of each
group will be awarded a prize. We
look forward to seeing you all there!
